Licensing
After several request and enquiries about licensing, I have decided to sell licenses of Web Design+. These liscenses will allow you or your company to take and modify Web Design+.
So what am I buying?
A Web Design+ license buys you the rights to reuse and modify any and all content in Web Design+ as per the below caveats. You get a .zip file with all HTML and full CSS and images, however you are free to modify these however you see fit.
What do I do with it?
You can use it as an internal document for your developers to all work from, meaning standard practices throughout the company. You can use it for yourself to document best practices in your own builds. You can also use it in educational circumstances, a well known University use Web Design+ as recommended reading on one of their courses— now they can buy a license for themselves. You can even just use it as a personally branded reference document.
The early bird…
As a special introductory offer I am selling the first ten for £10, then numbers 11–20 for £20, 21–30 for £30 etc. You’re better off getting yours sooner to save some money!
Caveats
There are obviously some caveats with the license:
You may/must:
- Modify Web Design+ on your own (unlimited number of) servers
- Add/remove/change content
- Acredit myself for orignal content
- Rename Web Design+*…
You may/must not:
- *…however this name must not be associated with another entity — the name must remain neutral and generic, for example: ‘Web Developer’s Guide’ is good, ‘[My Agency] Web Developer’s Handbook’ is bad.
- Resell Web Design+
- Pass Web Design+ off as your own work
