CSS Wizardry 2009 Calendar

My 2009 Wall Planner Calendar

This year I decided that I wanted a calendar. I decided I wanted a nice one. There are plenty of them out there and all are pretty nice, but none really took my fancy. I then decided to try designing my own.
I’ve recently started getting very much into typography and grids so I decided to put these new passions into practice and came up with this:

Small version of my 2009 Calendar

A lot of calendars are sorted by first of the month, but I’ve never before seen a calendar sorted by weekends — arguably the most imporant part of the week. I think that new alignment creates a tight order across the calendar but also leaves to tops/bottom offset — look I quite like.

I have also released a PDF version for free so that people who like it can download and print their own. Drop me a line if you like/use it.
