About Me — Harry Roberts
My name is Harry Roberts — I am a 19 year old web developer. I currently live in Leeds, but am originally from a small town in the North of England called Cleckheaton. Although I may share my name with the infamous police killer, I’m not half as nasty.
I am completely self-taught over the last 2½ years or so and have a real passion for web standards, accessibility, sensible and semantic code, grids, typography, learning new techniques and building websites correctly.
I currently work as a web developer at Sense Internet. My contributions are mainly xHTML and CSS based, offering solutions to any non programming based problems on a variety of projects. I have been at Sense since Summer ’08, and before then I worked at Keyclicks.
I also ride trials. I’ve recently got back into riding, after over a year out. I’ve not looked back since, but still have lots to learn.
I’ve recently jumped on the Twitter bandwagon, why not follow me?
About my work
I take pride in my work, and always enjoy delivering high quality builds for my own — just as much as the clients’ — gratification. I enjoy making things work first time, but conversely also enjoy overcoming challenges.
I have always been interested in web standards, accessibility, usability and semantics, but more recently I have become enthralled with grids and typography. So much so that I decided to make my own typographical CSS framework, Typogridphy.

Colophon
This is the 3rd iteration of CSS Wizardry. It was hand-coded in xHTML, CSS and PHP using Notepad++.
The xHTML is Strict, semantic, clean, sensible and valid. The CSS is exactly what it should be, clean and sensible with no hacks and it uses the cascade. The PHP is very basic (as I am not a programmer) but very useful, and pretty efficient. There is no database but the templating system the PHP provides is sweet. I may release it one day.
Most of the articles from the old CSS Wizardry (v. 1–2) are gone, but the more notable ones have been rewritten and are kept in the Toybox.
