Clecktionary — Cleckheaton’s Dictionary

Clecktionary is Cleckheaton’s own dictionary. It is a tongue-in-cheek and affectionate look back at my home town. If you get offended by anything said in Clecktionary, move to Heckmondwike.

For those of you who don’t know, Cleckheaton is a small town in West Yorkshire, England. Home to the Midget Gem and the World’s biggest Indian restaurant, we don’t have much else to shout about. Except maybe the fact that someone stole our train station.

My name is Harry Roberts, I am an 18 year old web developer currently living in Leeds, but up until October 2008 I spent all my life living in the lovely Cleck. Do I miss it? In a weird way I guess I do.
